I'd really like to see Parker and TDL get a game this week. Mummy out - and whoever else may be carrying a niggle that could benefit from a week off. I don't think it'll be an easy game but I think we may get a percentage boost after half time.Comment

Spot on-a fact not unnoticed by the Coaches. Goodes Reid and a resting Pyke or LRT is all the height we need in the forward line-White adds nothing. I suspect Horse will want game time for those who will be playing a part in the Finals so that also rules out White. So Parker or TDL straight swap for Mummy.Regards,

Outs: Mumford (injured), Everitt (omitted).
Ins: TDL & Parker
With Reid, Goodes and LRT/Pyke in the forward line, I don't think White is required against GC.
Just need Parker in the side and I would have TDL in the side ahead of Everitt.Comment

The problem is match ups against stronger sides. I guess it comes down to whether match committee wants to try out alternatives come finals or picks a side for gold coast alone. We would be too short with that side in finals. Also as good as he has progressed, we cannot go into finals with pyke as our only real ruck, with only LRT as back up.
Imho we either trial pyke/white/LRT as a group or hope seaby or Mumford are available.
Be interesting to see which way they goComment

Do not underestimate Gold Coast, they have looked better the past couple of games and have plenty of run.
If Mummy misses next week, LRT will be second ruck, expect Everitt to play a full game and Parker to be sub. This is what will happen.
We do however desperately need a genuine small forward so why the hell don't they bring TDL in???
It should be Everitt to the two's, TDL full game and Parker sub but it won't happen :-(
DON'T GET ME WRONG i WOULDN'T MAKE THAT MANY CHANGES JUST A FEW STRATEGIC ONES!!!! We are one of the most talented lists in the AFL and we need to be confident in being able to use that list. We should be!!!Comment

Burt he has been 1st emergency 4 times this season and has been very close to a start. If you can't trust your depth then you might as well give up as you will never win a premiership. We have wonderful depth and I watch the Two's regularly and there are quite a few players there that would slot into the 'A's quite easily if we rested a player. For instance, Brown, while he hasn't played much footy this year in a few games would be a pretty good replacement if something happened to AJ. Nipper is a pretty good player and just seems a pity he has spent so much time in the Two's and that is a testimony to our depth. The only reason he hasn't got a game yet has been some errant delivery which he has been working on.Comment

We were doing alright a few weeks ago with just that!!!! We didn't have goodsie then either. We did play Everitt in a couple but went decidedly small in one game and it was really good. Parker & Jack killed them drifting down to kick goals!!!Comment

Just come back from injury and not quite right as far as I can see. A bit slow to the contest on the weekend. That is why not! Not quite match fit I'd say. I must admit I am glad Lamb had a rest and fixed his injury probs up as he has been fantastic in the last 1.5 games as that is all he has played.Comment

Why is Pyke a worry as senior ruck, he played really well when Mummy went off last week? He took the responsibility on his big shoulders and stood tall. He was very good all game last week but seemed to put an even bigger effort in the last half. TRUST Burt he will be more than ok. Done it before and was good.Comment
