You may be right!! Longmire did make a point of saying they need to grab their opportunity with both hands so maybe he's planning to give them as close as possible to a full game to do it. I just don't think it seems like his style though, to mess with whoever he then makes the sub. Unless someone is a bit sore or under some other cloud - maybe Malceski if Horse thinks his form has slipped again. If it's one of these two I'm picking TDL.

The reason I dont post so much on here any more is because so many people dont know how to argue properly and reduce discussion to personal attack. I miss Big Al as well and I think the same could be said for him. When I checked out the WC fan site I was pleasantly surprised by the civility and respect during vigorous discussion. If this was the case here, there would be a lot more people posting.Comment

I can't tell if you're trying to be ironic.I was making a comment to Dirty Burt after a few posters said he was being hostile. I said if you read what I wrote properly that he should have added a "warm fuzzy" so people didn't think he was getting hostile.
Instead everyone gets overly sensitive and personal then goes completely off track.

You follow a frankly rather implausible denial of attacking anyone directly or indirectly by saying how people who post on footy forums (I assume excluding yourself) know nothing and therefore have no right to comment. Nevertheless, you benevolently permit anyone who you deem to fall into this category to post, but warn them to be prepared to be laughed at (by which you really mean ridiculed, in my opinion) by people like yourself whose involvement in the game lend their opinions validity. This is commonly known as an indirect attack.
You say you have no time to pick the best team in a thread whose subject is to discuss who should be in the best team.

That's really disappointing to hear, although I think there are only a small number of posters who for some reason favour sarcasm and aggression. Hopefully the likes of those posters will either modify their behaviours or go elsewhere, and the people who have made this site what it is will continue to add to the interesting and informative debate that can and should occur here.

Dear DirtyBurt and BillyRay - please take your childish and offensive stuff elsewhere - its not funny and all it will achieve is to turn a lot of people off this site. I don't know about anyone else but I love RWO and enjoy having a laugh, some banter, learning a lot and I generally get a kick out of it. However posts such as your recent ones really do spoil it for a lot of people.
You guys both know your footy and have a lot of interesting and constructive things to say but quite frankly the tone of a lot of your recent posts have been unacceptable.Comment

Well I haven't been paying too much attention to all the spitefullness that apparently has been going on but couldn't we all just express opinions and have those opinions respected even if we disagree.

On this weeks changes - Hoo Bloody Ray, at last TDL is in the side. We desperately need a clever small forward and this bloke is the genuine article, I just don't understand how he keeps getting dropped.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE TDL THE GREEN VEST! He needs a full game. Maybe Bird or Jude could do with the freshen up this week or ease Parker back in but please not TDL.
At a ressies game earlier this year, amongst the meagre crowd of 100 spectators was a Port Power recruiter who I struck up conversation with. TDL was cutting them up and he asked why TDL wasn't getting a game in the seniors. I said I had no idea because he was in my best 22, not that I know anything. As someone wrote earlier it would be a total waste giving to him because he would have limited impact from his position. However, Andrejs kicked the winning goals when he subbed Goodes. I wonder how much that was coaching panel skill or good luck.
I suppose a swap for Boak would be out of the question. TDL is still young so I hope he doesn't get traded but at least he would be guarranteed a game each week there.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

I don't doubt our fringe players will get interest from other clubs. It is exactly what we have done with Geelong, hawks, pies, Adelaide in the past when they had strong winning teams. You just back your culture and the players desire to break into a strong winning side, will keep them at your club.
If they go, meh, so be it.Comment
