Somewhat disappointed with that, would of been good to see morton get a go for a week or 2 to see what value he can add to the team. Great to see mummy back though.

Glad to hear that Al. He sure didn't look good early this year. Fingers crossed

I read Carltank believe Goodes and Mumford, or at least one of them, are possible late changes.

        Did anyone see training today?

Unless Horse is horsing around, sounds like they'll be playing.

Stop the morton farce! what does this bloke have to do to get a game.
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

This is a big must win against Carlton. About the most important game of the H&A season. I am in central Thailand at the moment so I have no chance of seeing the game. Go bloods.

Weve made our first major mistake by not selecting Morton.

With all due respect, we are sitting at #1 at the moment. Although it would appear that he deserves a game, i) we have a settled team, ii) Mummy is the obvious in for Reid, the only obvious out, and iii), it would appear that Morton is only recently grasping out playing style and what is required to be a top-flight Swan according to our esteemed Ressies watchers.

Not saying I wouldn't be happy to see how he goes, there's just not a spot for him at the moment.

Who would you leave out instead? TDL has the shakiest spot in the team, but he's waited longer than Morton I think to have a decent go. That's the thing about being the number one team, there will always be good players who miss out.

Exactly. TDL has spent far longer doing Dominating the two's than Morton has. If he keeps it up he'll get his chance eventually, but it's not his turn yet.

So TDL for LRT has become... Morton for TDL....Ridiculous

Morton is a periphery Richmond player, who in the end couldn't get a game with that crap team..... they eventually gave up on him...He's got a lot of making up to do..... a huge understatement.

At Richmond he was a downhill skier. Most notably, ordinary when the pressure was on. He has no finals experience, and from what he has shown, won't stand up to finals pressure.

All he's done is kick a couple of bags, against second rate opposition, in a dominating side.

No thanks. There are plenty I'd prefer in the trenches ahead of him.

Morton deserves a chance, just not at the expense of anyone in the current team (plus Reid).

Sooner or later there will be an injury and he may get his chance then.

                          My thoughts also.

I remember having similar thoughts about Shaw and Spanger on there arrival here. It would be a wonderful bonus if Morton ends up being half as handy as either of them.

We wouldn't have taken him if we didn't think his attitude had changed and that he could be moulded to fit the club. He's a bit older now, hopefully a bit more mature.

The difference is Shaw and Spanhger played for quality teams.
