I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I saw Richo do a post match interview in about round 2 or 3 and he said those exact words and the player he was speaking to just stared at him for a second, presumably thinking "no @@@@!"

Got the job done. I'm sure Jude's okay. Best winning streak since 1934. Roll on Collingwood.

Post game Primus talk. Thanks Dennis for putting it back on track at least for the last 15 seconds.

            Off to Channel 504 now....................................

He grinned and said it was a bit of a hyper-extension (in case Ch 7 missed it). However will depend on scan as a partial tear in anything will be 4 weeks.

Thank God we have Jesse to replace him.

Stingy defence definitely deserves the credit for that win. A few brain farts along the way, but Ted and Smiffy, in particular, were fantastic. AJ is also becoming a super cool-headed player.

Jetta probably needs to lift his work rate a tad, but no doubting the magic when he does get the ball. That handball to himself over the top of Betts, and his confidence to take Betts on for speed were audacious, to say the least.

As someone else said great win let's turn out in droves and shout as loud as we can and beat Collingwood.

Good win - better that our defence got a fair bit of practice than just have a walk in the park.

Blues have been pretty solid last few weeks, so wasn't the gimme game it was looking only a few weeks ago. And had to beat the maggots again - just like every week. Knew as soon as we went 7-1 early in the FF count that they would be squaring up for rest of the game. Couldn't buy a free for large parts of the game.

And yes, seems the addition of a verified Carlton umpire had some effect!

Now watching the home town umps get the crows back in business. Come on Bombers - finals on the line - surely time to show SOMETHING! ANYTHING!

And lastly (and off topic - apologies!) the bloody eagles get a soft run from the umps even when they're not the home team at Subi! Fortunately didn't matter much!

Not our greatest day, but still good enough to win when not playing at our best. That's pleasing.

Typical Jude - offered some crutches at end of game and waved them away like swatting a fly!

Lots of love for our unbreakable warrior. Well, hopefully only a bit bruised and not broken!

Pleased with the win shores up top 4 possibly top 2 but geez hope Jude is ok, hopefully it's only a 2-3 week injury if there is damage and he's back for the finals, we need him!

Good effort against a side that has it's share of ability, and were giving it their all.

We managed to handle everything they threw at us, without producing our best ... just what you would expect from a top 2 side coming into the finals!

we are in sensational form. Great result missing our key forward. Carlton got a couple of late goals to make the scoreboard more respectable. But we beat a good side desperate for finals action, away from home, and did it in a game that typifies why we have a % of 150 ish. (appart form those late junk goals).

                                Very, very impressive.

                                Now lets bring in Morton.
