    Everitt in for Bolton.
Disappointing to say the least. Predictable to say the most. He will be sub which will give TDL a full run which is a positive

Was always going to be Everitt, he is obviously the coach's 24/25th man, notwithstanding specific requirements. Good to see Spangher getting closer.

Seems Everitt is being cast as a sub specialist...

That's fine by me, he's done it well a few times now

Agree with Ernie. With his height and agility Everitt 's the ideal sub.

A very experienced three coming in. Clarke is a player who likes to run but can be a bit loose for a backman. Tarrant will probably go forward again and that is a waste if he does as he would be far more dangerous in the back half. Didak will play mid & HF as usual. This will be no picnic but I think they have lost two players who score goals.

                      Welcome to the forums.

Everitt has been pretty good when used as a Sub. He's in my mind the ideal Sub because of the different roles he can play.

Gomoobeel after the Geelong game I hoped we had seen the last of the "lets bag Everitt" posts. He is not one of the best 22, or 23, or 24. But with Rohan, Reid and Bolton all injuried, he deserves a place in this weekend's team.

A lot has been said about Swan but don't underestimate the importance of Goldsack to their forward structure. He's equal 3rd in the goalkicking, equal 3rd in marks inside 50, equal 4th in goal assists and is definitely more than just a defensive forward. He has taken up some of the goalscoring slack created by Cloke's and Dawes' poor form this year and when combined with Swan's suspension (2nd in goals), they've lost some scoreboard firepower

sorry i only registered today....so not aware of the history of this site...but i disagree..he has done bugger all when promoted (except for that one piece of brilliance)....think there are better options...for me everitt looks confused with his role & invariably seems clueless (much like jesse white)...in comparison to guys like johnson & smith...who are just brilliant and understand their roles so well...

Welcome Gomo...Whilst I agree Everitt is no world beater...and not in our best 21..

It's fact he's played well, and most importantly for a sub.... he's had an impact, as a sub, on 3 or 4 occasions now.... Not just the Geelong goal....His game against the Kangas was fantastic to name one.

I think this is due to his speed relative to his size and his penetrating kick...he's versatile and very hard for a tired player to match up on.

I like him as a sub.
