If I was still in Broken Hill I would enlist the Gaucci family as they could probably half fill the stadium on their own. As it is I am with other members no newbies or non regs unfortunately.

      Hi Grant,

If you have a General Admission membership, you will be able to use your member card to access the game. We have however sold out of guest passes, so there are no additional tickets available. As always, the area is subject to capacity, so arrive early and you'll be set!

If you have any questions, just shoot me a note or give the Member Services crew a call on 1300 663 819.

See you all there on Saturday!

Wow, sounds like there is going to be a huge crowd, if I was a sydneysider I would be there with bells on. Its time this hoodoo ended and if the captain is calling for fans to get to the game the team must be full of confidence. So cmon you sin city based supporters, get out to homebush and help get us over the line, those mad collingwood ferals will be out in force.

Just as an indication of what some supporters think of homebush. I am a Sydney swans member. I have been for nearly 20 years. I was in Melbourne last week just to watch the blues game. I regularly travel to interstate swans games.

The group I go to the footy with will all watch the pies game at the pub Saturday night.

            Just an observation

It's a pity you're trying to pour as much cold water as possible on what looks like being a thrilling night for the club.

DB, I'm holding you responsible now if less than 100.000 turn up.

Realyl disappointed I cant come up the highway for this one, but will be going to the Dogs game next week and the Dawks the week after, before finals of course (Although I need our Week 1 final to be Saturday Night or Sunday Arvo, which is unlikely as well!)

Hope there is 50K+ there on Saturday night - a good atmosphere can get the boys home in a critical game!

Excuse me Wolfy but that was EXACTLY my point!! BillyRayCypress is the one casting aspersions on the people attending the Chairman's function. I was calling him on how anyone could call the $355 per head freeloading. You're right - the "freebies" go to corporate sponsors who pour big bucks into the club both directly and via co-marketing campaigns. I hope your quoting me in that context was just an unfortunate accident. I'm all for people who pay good money to go to club functions.

I too know a few SCG regulars who won't got out to Homebush for games as its 'too far', 'lacks atmosphere', 'couldn't be bothered' and various other reasons. I respect their choice, and I am in the pro-SCG camp, however I am getting very pumped for this Saturday and the prospect of a healthy crowd, a good atmosphere and most importantly a Swans victory.

This is wear it gets silly.

The people from the West can travel over an hour each fortnight to the SCG with no complaints. Peeps from as far as Wollongong, Blue Mountains and Bundeena. Without a word of complaint.

But then there are some of those, I can't really say minority when somebody above has said his group of 20, flat out refuse to go to Homebush a measly 3 times a year.

They complain about lack of atmosphere but that will only come with attendance.

Facilities are pretty much the same

Complaints about transport, when it's free transport anyway.

Our captain wants us all there, so they should give up their grievances for the sake of the team and do it for them.

We need to break this hoodoo and give us 10 straight wins and beat those bloody pies

Just be aware that if we loose these peeps that refuse to go to ANZ but still call themselves "supporters" should be regretting their decision to choose NOT to support their boys.

As what it all comes down to is they can not hear you cheering them on or screaming at them from behind a TV set in a Pub In Sydney.

So do it for the boys, just this once, they may even surprised and enjoy themselves at a 70,000 plus crowded game
