I hope we can beat Collingwood tonight. We are due to break the losing streak. Last year's 6-point loss was at a time when Collingwood were thumping everyone else. Had Collingwood not had red-hot form when we played them last year, we would have ended the streak last year.
Last year's Collingwood form, with ladder position of opponents at the time Collingwood played them:
R10 Collingwood 16.9 (105) West Coast (6th) 7.11 (53)
R11 Collingwood 16.12 (108) St Kilda (11th) 7.9 (51)
R12 Melbourne (9th) 6.5 (41) Collingwood 19.15 (129)
R13 Bye
R14 Sydney (6th) 14.9 (93) Collingwood 13.21 (99)
R15 Collingwood 15.16 (106) Hawthorn (3rd) 9.11 (65)
R16 Collingwood 22.15 (147) North Melbourne (10th) 3.12 (30)
We held them to below 100 points in round 14 last year, the only time that Collingwood failed to reach 100 points between round 9 and 16 inclusive.
The only side to score more than 93 points against Collingwood in the whole of the 2011 season was Geelong, who beat Collingwood 3 times in 2011 (the only 3 losses that Collingwood had for the entire season).
If we can replicate last year's form, we should beat them comfortably.
A win against Collingwood would give us a very good chance of a top-two finish. It would also give a lot of credibility to our premiership aspirations."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

1st quarter forwards played behind. 2nd to the ball. Hannas way off. How often does Goodes miss vital goals.Comment
