And he stood there and watched Pendelbury stroll out of the centre. Needs a bloody decent rocket.

Happy with the rest of the team.

Why are we still playing the Pies at ANZ? Who cares about money when we may have just cost ourselves top spot.

Didn't deserve to win. bad kicking is bad footy. Goodes had a shocker.
          Go swannies for the flag.

So sick of losing to Collingwood, they're just so smug and awful. It makes it worse when you consider our abundance of opportunities.

Goodes really needs to do some soul searching I reckon, maybe give him a rest next week?

On our form tonight, we won't go anywhere near the flag unfortunately.

Poor old Swannies, they'll be devastated they couldn't break the hoodoo. Lets hope we can turn it around if we meet them in a final.

This is not the fault of one player, this is a structural and personnel problem. We need Sam Reid to step up for us. If he does , it looks good for next year. IMHO our problem is the forward line, and we need to fix this.

The difference between the teams in the end was one team has played ALOT of finals football, while the other has a number of senior players who have played alot of finals who didn't stand up.

I think the Swans will take much out of that game. They need to harden the @@@@ up and not miss easy shots under pressure. Had their chances and didn't take them.

Accurate kicking has been our strength so far this season. Under pressure it deserted us this time. We can do better if we keep working as hard as we did tonight.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

All those kicks into the forward line when there was no forward to kick it to. Missed goals, you can't win a game kicking 8.16

Probably shouldnt say this in the heat of the moment but...... Goodesy is currently in the side on reputation not on form. He is costing us big time! What was the kick into the forward line straight to pendlebury? Remember the TV show called "The MOLE", I think he might be the mole!

If we played crap like we did tonight we would have gotten beat at the SCG as well. We have to beat one of these sides at the MCG to win the comp and based on tonight we're not ready to that quite yet.

Anyway I'm putting this game behind right now and looking to next week.

I agree that Goodes is far from his best. I still wouldn't drop him.. As a team will be better for the run.. This was a tight contested game that we can take a lot out of.. As has been said all season.. We lack a forward line.. When our mids are being busy doing there day job we have nothing left..
