That is rubbish, any swans member who previously sat in the noble or bradman stands will (if they choose to move back) have markedly improved conditions in the new stand. If they choose not to, then those seats will be available for new members.

This it's only for scg members trott is just that.

There are a fair number of members who previously sat in the Bradman Stand so I would think that they will all be moved back into the new stand once its done. I will also push for my group to consider moving into it as well. Where are you getting the information on the 500 extra seats from? I should read up on it I suppose.

I am still looking forward to our nice and shiny home in 2014! Hopefully we can bid farewell to Homebush shortly thereafter..

It's not rubbish. That was one of the main criticisms of the upgrade - most of the additional capacity would be going to SCG members, not the general public.

You obviously did not read the original post. This is afl not cricket. We will have much improved conditions in the new stand. Plus, members who stay in trumper will free up seats in the bradman/noble, or, if not, release memberships in the trumper. We dont sell our memberships out, do plenty are available.

So it is a chip on your shoulder Problem about scg members. What do you have against them?

Nothing. I don't have a chip on my shoulder about SCG members. I simply stated a fact - that the principal beneficiaries of the redevelopment will be SCG members. And that is because there are currently more members than will fit into the Members & Ladies Stands.

As for finals, I am unsure as to whether SCG members would have preferential access to tickets over Swans members.

Half of the old Bradman Stand was for members, and the other half for the rest of the hoi polloi - will this be roughly the same once the new stand is done?

The principal beneficiaries will be anyone who sits in the stand. Don't let that get in the way of a good whinge though

It would have to be, just with a bit more capacity.

Does anyone know if SCG members get preferential access to tickets if a final is played at the SCG?

The overall capacity of the ground will increase from 45,758 to 48,000 so there'll more seats available for Swans members and the general public.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

They have their own allocation and entitlements. Same as MCG members.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Rubbish. I'm Red Zone and I stand in the Ladies, there is no way there are SCG members forced out of that stand due to capacity issues.

They let non-SCG members in FFS.
