I knew it was going to be a good day - I saw American comedian Tommy Deane (he was a regular on Spicks and specks) at Lilli Pilli this morning and he was wearing a swans jumper!!! Great win swannies - here's to us beating Hawthorn!!I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I'm sure the commentators have been told NOT to comment on the Etihad surface. It is a disgrace and dangerous. The amount of times that the ground shifted we were lucky not to get a knee injury.
Pyke's ankle looked like it got caught up between ROK's legs.
I was expecting Bruce to go through his shopping list on the way home. Tim Watson couldn't work out his soft J's and his hard J's.
Even Kirky's thoughts on the sound of one hand clapping at Etihad would have been a relief from the talking heads today.
Its a win and no one rates us a chance for next week. Even Fox Sports cut away before the Club song.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

I loved our transition work, but our first quarter was insipid and our ability to close the dogs when they moved to play on was a little suspect. I loved the goals and the work by the ruckman - really helped up forward. Mitch Morton had a few good touches. He was always asking for the ball so I'm glad he's enthusiastic, but yes, he seemed to make the right decisions and find himself in good positions. I'm still annoyed he wasn't given a longer go, becasue we never got to see him when the heat was on, and hence, we never really got to see whether he has the mettle for finals if the circumstance arises.
Lastly, 3 cheers to the Melbourne crowd who were fantastic and vocal. The nicest thing was seeing all those little kids donned in their red and white. Bringing up a whole new generation of Swans fanatics.
