If I'm reading it correctly (4pts for a win against a side you play once, 2pts for a win against a side you play twice - please clarify BRC) it's still a system just as flawed as the current one. Collingwood lost twice to Carlton; 2 shocking games against a side you'd expect the supposedly no 2 side would beat. We had a shocking game against Richmond, but played away. How should those two situations be penalised equally? Collingwood learned nothing, but we never had a chance at redemption so to speak.
People should stop searching for who really deserves to be in the top 4 and who doesn't. We all have to admit that the side who wins the premiership isn't always the best side, they are instead the best side on the day. The competition is imperfect, but that's they way it has always been.

The fact those results are among their better efforts simply reinforces my point that they aren't perhaps as good as everyone seems to think. Their game against the eagles was woeful. You've got yourself all fired up and are conveniently cherry picking which parts of my posts suit your ranting. Fine, if that's what you want to do.
