You think the Hawks player didn't hear the Umpie? Wrong! He picks the ball up looks over that side and decides to kick. There has been plenty of time it was not a split second. He thought he could get away with it and did.

Well, they must have been very clear cut. The Geisch has just said on Its your Call, both decisions were wwwrrrooonngggg (yes it did hurt him on the way out) by the umpires involved. Makes the score look a little better if you change it by 12points!Comment

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

I couldn't believe the noise given that half the stands were down. Fantastic atmosphere. I can wait until the new stands are complete and we can pack in 1.5x that number.
Compare that to the snooze-fest at ANZ in round one which had 40k+ (admittedly quality of opposition and importance of the game was a little different).Comment

Truly fantastic atmosphere, I also look forward to the 'cauldron' being back to full capacity. The scg is one of the great footy venues.I couldn't believe the noise given that half the stands were down. Fantastic atmosphere. Not meaning to be the stickler, but that was in 2005 and it was closely followed by Goodes being tripped in our F50.Last time we had a ROTTEN decision against the spirit and sense of the game when it mattered the most was the one against Leo 2006 out in Perth. We lost the game on that, the ump giving it was thrown out of the rest of the finals series as well as GF contention, and we went on to win the next game and play in the GF.
Based on that scenario, a bad (read horribbllle) decision against us went on to spur the boys into tooth and claw play, so we just may beat Geelong after all......And that ladies and gentlemen is how I see it today. Ask me again next week.
And so... that actually spurred us on to win the GF (along with a couple of other pieces falling our way)He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment
