I think that the angst comes from "Out: Reid". That is just a huge out for us and whoever we bring in isn't going to do much to fill the hole. Still - he has been out before this year and we have one so all is not lost if you like.

Could Walsh be the hard player to take Scarlett out of the action for his last H&A game? I don't know enough about his game but there has to be a tactic behind it.

Walsh need to be careful that players don't run off him all day long. He needs to work on his speed and make certain he plays up the ground a bit at times. We can't have LRT and walsh standing near goals together like in the st kilda game players run off them adding link up players down the ground.
Walsh is still learning but 194cm 100kg player that can mark is what the swans need in the years ahead. We hope this game will allow him to take another step forward.

So when does Jude play 300?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Good point. Just looked into it and I think we have brought him back a week early. He is on 297 now, so second finals game will be his 300th. If we saved him for next week then the grannie would have been his 300th.

Would have been good to have that extra motivation (you know, besides the premiership).

Honestly some of you panic more than what the passengers on the Hindenburg did.

It seems clear to me that with Reid out you need to replace him with another tall and with Jude coming in to fill that midfield/half forward flank role he replaces that half forward flanker. Walsh/Jude in for Reid/Morton sounds logical to me.

Morton is a brilliant talent and is wasted playing two's.
Brilliant?? Good player but hardly brilliant. Jude is a better option against the Cats I would have thought.

As for TDL I think he's shown everyone this year he's a liability unless he hardens up.

Does anyone else feel that Jude is a bigger in than Sam is an out?

I feel that if Jude had come up a week earlier we'd be top of the ladder and still celebrating Ryan's miracle winning goal.

(btw anone notice the Swans love on Footy Teams last night - and Dermott is becoming a more mature/better host than BT ever was?)

Understand that and your right no one can fill that hole that Reid leaves but for some people to say that we obviously don't want to win because they don't understand the selection is just plainly ridiculous. People are panicking so much that even the useless Jesse Whites names has been mentioned.

You'll notice I cunningly refered to Tommy as a big marking target, not forward.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Completely agree. If they were to build prototype of the perfect finals player Jude would be the perfect mould.

Also a trained monkey throwing faeces around the studio would do a better job than BT. Dermott has been good though I agree.

Yep, agree, Morton stiff but Jude a better proven option. TDL not even close.

More entertaining also, I would pitch that to channel 9. Would out rate big brother easily
