Well, that was an interesting break in transmission, wasn't it? Probably just as well given how poorly we performed.

I think we have to acknowledge goodes is simply no forward. When he plays on Taylor, Gibson, tarrant, Reid etc, he is not athletic enough to get space and not strong enough to wrestle them away. And when he does get it - by god his disposal is shocking.Comment

Too soft, too slow, too negative! That is my assessment of today. If you want to win footy matches you don't have your whole forward line in the back half. We were very dead today and I think gone for the season. Longmire was wrong not to rest players against the lower sides we played in the last round. I think quite a few of our players are tired. We have been very loathe to blood and play experienced reserves players all year we should have done so and now we are paying for that policy. Our players look tired! Look done!!
In the Two's we have a couple of players who could make a difference. Number one is Morton, I think putting him back was a @@@@e decision. We had nobody who could regularly front up & kick a goal today & I think he can. Lamb would be good for our mids as he is SUPER Strong and has great delivery, plus he kicks goals.
Jude should have played in the Two's for his first game as this was not a good day to test his knee. A couple of other players should be in the Two's too!!! Guess who I think they are?
Who was @@@@E; Goodes, Birdie, Jetts (but to do him a favour they are no longer kicking to him at all, Goodes even decided to kick for goal instead of doing a Jetts run on, we all know what happened), Shaw, Mattner. Ryano was slow and it was shown up today no longer any good in the mids even though he did some good work, time and time again their mids ran away from him. Grundy was crap today, he is so soft in the contest and that is not good enough. He just gives up position again and again and he got flogged today. I thought we could have put LRT onto Hawkins and he would have been better. Get LRT back Grundy out!Comment

The Melbourne Media? Theyre never right about us. One thing ive learnt, never give up on this team. We are good enough. Have faith.

I think the injury might have had a big impact on Goodsies agility and speed. Don't yell at me but he may be finished as age catches up sometimes quickly. We are playing him in the forward line because he is incapable of playing mids I am sure of that.Comment

I'm with you. Disappointing last month, but it can all turn around with a good game against the Crows. Go Swans!Comment

They are up against it this week. Let's hope they can show the same determination.
On a side note, in season 2010 and 2011 we had massive form slumps in the middle of the year, before just picking up our game heading into finals with some form. This year our middle patch was terrific but our form going into the finals is poor. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds given those differences.Comment

the pressure will be on the crows that's for sure, we need to work on our forward structure and our continued reliance on bombing long and wide to packs when coming out from defence, it seems to be our only bail out option when the heat is on. Hawthorn last week and Geelong this week picked us off way to easy, why you would bomb to a pack that involves Harry Taylor is beyond meComment

Geelong showed us what sort of hardness at the ball is required this year. I'd say their run and spread and structure was better too. Their home crowd helped them, as did having a few big and quite handy forward targets. We weren't that bad and hopefully we'll bounce back.
Oh and what happened to RWO? Bit of a meltdown? Hopefully all good now!Comment

Let all take a chill pill and have nice cup of 'settle the hell down'. Of the last 36 games (thats right 36 games) only the swans have beaten the cats at Geelong. We are third on the ladder and we should be proud. I will guarantee you we will win against Adelaide in the city of churchesComment
