Back on topic, great game by the soft haired barbarian. Does anyone think that he won't be moved forward in the preliminary?
It's odds on that Grundy will return and LRT will go forward. Horse then has the luxury of swinging him back if needed.

With Mcglynn out we need a forward who is going to work their arse off with and without the ball. LRT fits that description perfectly.

Yep that is how I see it also.

Morton played well (one exception) but reckon he may be on bench.

He will out of necessity, but how good would a backline of reg, Ted and LRT be ? AJ or Marty would have to make way to make that happen but that is a @@@@ing good backline right there !

When I heard Grundy was out I wasn't too worried because he hasn't been in great form and knew that LRT would finally get to play back where he belongs. He is a good match up on he big talls down back. I haven't been a fan of LRT all year but fantastic to see LRT play his best game of the year. Just hope he stays back where he can be of value. Morton did a great job today and is a natural forward and is the biggest bonus from today's game. I hope we are all giving im some love too. P.S dirtyburt your life must be pathetic to be such a tool all the time.

LRT should never have been under criticism here. He did his job today just like every other game this year.

Disagreement all good, especially when you can give and take. That is what footy is all about. Also, not being a sook and having a giggle at yourself helps.

                      Welcome

How about that bearded warrior? Did anyone notice his 1,457,756 spoils?
I'll admit to wanting a poster banned in another thread but he's a goose so I think that's fair.

Also did you actually watch the game... It was clearly 1,457,757 spoils. And you call yourself a supporter.

Yes, lots of calls from polite posters for others to be banned or leave.

                        Ok, ok ok

I was wrong, it was more spoils

I can't believe I just wasted time reading this thread. I don't post often, but felt the need to after that.

PLAY THE POST, NOT THE POSTER!
If that doesn't start to happen, may I suggest mods start handing out some bans?
The site is littered with petty crap these days. And I have no doubt it not only drives people away but also stops them joining in, in the first place.

There's a site called bigfooty if anyone wants to act like a child.

Thank you for making me waste 30 minutes of my Sunday morning cleaning up the rubbish and abuse in this thread.

GROW UP. If you can't play the ball, DON'T play the man.

Enough warnings, anything else happens it will be an infraction.

For goodness sake, we are in the preliminary final.....ENJOY IT!!!

It would look a bit like the Geelong defence, with Lonergen, Taylor and Scrarlett, with Johnson playing a role like Mackey. It works for them. Why not us? I like the idea of giving Ted a bit more ability to be 3rd man up.
Maybe we could could play all three as you have suggested I know there was a thread about this Pre season?? It may depend on who we play in the prelim with matchups etc. All our defenders played very well and we would have to squeeze one out to fit LRT as I think Heath will regain his place. LRT looked great down back but I think the only way we can keep LRT down back is to move Johnson or Grundy but I dont think they will do either.

                              Cheers
