It's attitude, 10 goals up, still not acceptable. I actually think it was when we were 25 points up (ok 5 goals to win) and they had a run on.

Not swans footy, brereton, if he said it, is right.

One swallow does not make a summer for Morton

Also does not chase enough - not enough "forward press"

      I stand by my statement

One or the other - Armstrong or Morton

but not both - this is not a standard H & A game

Lets have a meaningful discussion of their merits and which one should get the jersey next game

      team balance/opponent etc

I do not give a donald duck which one , but hopefully we make the right choice

It may be harsh but, as great as Morton was, I agree he will be a risk in the prelim.
What of TDL? Anyone with finals experience would be good.

Benny's tear is bad and you don't take any risk players into a final so it's Grundy in McGlynn out, no other changes needed or will be made.

Morton was good today particularly given it was his first full game. Wasn't selfish as some have suggested and one snap he had for a point was right in front of me and it was as congested as anything so going for a snap was a valid thing to do. Had a couple of really deft touches that resulted in scores. He's clever and he's clean. He stays in.

to be honest that snap was no worse than the one by parker which was critical - sometimes if you are inside 50 you have to shoot - mcglynn was selfish when he missed from the top of the square with three other swans in better positions than him - but you have ti take the shot when it is available to you.

Feel sorry 4 mcglynn fingers crossed for a medical miracle. What is with the hate with Morton I think he was great today and had been every time he has played for us. Morton is the forward we are missing.

The coaches will be pleased with Mortons effort today but they will have quiet word with him about that. The reserves coaches came down hard on that type of footy early in the season when Mitch was still in Richmond mode. Team first attitude has always been of paramount importance for this club.

                      Heartbreaking for Benny.

At this stage it would be good to congratulate all the players on their contributions to the win. Post match Horse spoke well of Morton's game.

Im sure Horse will be happy. A few people marking him way too hard for one snap (and for his past performances at the Tigers). I could rattle off plenty of names with regards to missed goals inside 50 with players free. Let it go, thats my opinion. The boy done good.

Think on it, hate selfish footy though. Stood up in a final.

I think we are sometimes guilty of spending too long finding the perfect person to kick a goal and getting no shot away.

McGlynn will be sorely missed. His toughness will be hard to replace

Poor McGlynn, he's unfortunatly going to miss out on 2 premierships because of injury, Hawks 2008 & Swans 2012.

I actually agree with this. Sometimes I feel players are scared to take a shot.
