I did over the counter from Sydney for the Melbourne final last year and was able to more or less specify where I wanted to sit if that helps?

One of the girls at work reckons she got hers through an ANZ Stadium member today $130 each.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

If you call, then you ought to be able to discuss what's available with the person at the other end of the phone.

Not sure if you can do the transaction over the counter still. In 2005 I went into the Ticketek office in Canberra to book our Semi-Final tickets. We ended up sitting in the same place as for H&A matches because I was able to talk face-to-face with a person.
I did this for the Carlton final Booked online and recieved the seats i wanted I think I rejected first option but 2nd option was exactly what I wanted.

True. But while you are waiting in line for service (or on hold if reaching out to the call centre), the good bronze seats might all be snapped up by online buyers through an engine that can handle hundreds of orders simultaneously.

I'll be trying for bronze seats online at the moment they go on sale and rejecting them for silver seats if they don't come up as ground level options in the first couple of attempts.

It's 8 tickets per transaction but not necessarily 8 tickets per membership.

Well done you I've gone from 11 down to 6 due entirely to the pricing issue.

I expect it will be 4 tickets per membership, absolutely ridiculous to have any less given they wouldn't fill the place if they were giving tickets away.

No idea why the AFL can't tell us now so we can organise. Even if it's a case that it is opponent dependant, give us 2 options like 2 per membership v Pies and 8 v Weagles. I know sometimes us fans don't see the big picture, but @@@@ they just seem so far removed to the mood of the natives, particularly in the Sydney market. Frustrating...

Bingo - I've gone from 6 to 11 - including an NRL daughter going to her first AFL game!

So do we have an answer on this? How many tikts per membership we'd be likely to get?

They'll tell us after they know who our opponent is. Stand by for email from the club.

Having the game on Friday night could work for us in two ways - Collingwood lose a day's recovery from their semi, and we get an extra day's recovery if we win...it's up to us to grab the opportunity...

Exactly - also I'm hoping they played their big final tonight and just won't be able to backup - we must take the game by the goolies and smash them!!! And for the crows to inflict damage on the hawks.
