Can someone tell me what a family ticket consists of?

We are going to have 8 adults and three concessions and if there's a family package it may be worth working within that. But I don't know how it works - and can't find anything on line.

And you can ignore my earlier question - I finally found the answer at the ANZ site - it's 2 adults, 2 juniors so my gaggle of concessions don't qualify.

Looking at the online ticketek guide, it seems you can't choose your seat, you're just offered the best seat the category you choose. Is this correct? What do people here do to get there preferred seat...ring up?...go in person?
