What a wonderful team and a wonderful club! I haven't stopped smiling since last night. These guys are great, I don't care what happens next week as long as they play their best. Honestly, the Swans as a club are such an inspiration. They are so professional and disciplined, they get into finals year after year, they treat the fans like gold, and there is rarely any off field trouble. Truly a great sporting side.

You can never be 100% when you hear things 2nd hand but i have heard that ballot entries are likely to be very successful based on the number of registrations that were made and the number of tix available to the Club.
We will soon find out! Successful entries posted on the Swans web 9am Monday morning.

I have a headache and I'll probably sound like a cross between Darren Lockyer and Neville Wran when I try to speak today but when I finally get out of bed I will be walking on sunshine all day.... We won. We are in the GF. Yes it's real. YaaaaaayComment

Those two were the ones I thought of but wasn't sure if there would be a supporter base for Swans supporters who couldn't get into MCG.
The other hint for the ballot before Monday would be if you notice your account suddenly has less funds in it (if debiting from your bank a/c) you've been successful.Comment

Herald Sun this morning has a double page and 1 Article !
If Pies had won it would have been a 16 page liftout
How good was Ted coming good after having (according to Dr Larkins) several parts of his knee strained / brocken.
Great work TedComment

Josh Kennedy characterises them in this incarnation. If Ferrari made a bulldozer, it would be him.

Player ratings by Mark Macgugan from AFL site:
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

Start it yourself ! I was the one who popularised it , from my little bit of Heaven in Bay 7 at the SCG .
And others , too - I got sick of only the short / long Sydney chants years ago , so decided to share the benefit of my English football background with all.
Strangely , no recording contract has ever been offered to me .......so far
Maybe Norris Lurker , Destructive et al can explain thatComment

What an amazing night...
Such an even performance across the list. The ball movement in and under around the packs was just sublime (this is a totally different brand of footy). And how good was Kennedy? What a gun!
The 26 point win in the end by no means reflected the match. It should have been at least double that.
I'll tell ya what, the Swannies are going to give next week one hell of a shake!Comment

I also saw in replay a commentator noted a great piece of play by Nick Smith - but attributed it to AJ !
The only acceptable error would be confusing Malceski and Shaw . Them black beards do no favours for my ageing eyes !!Comment

I think the happiest bloke in Australia at the moment is Mick Malthouse........ on another note, 2 players I have have had a crack at this year are LRT and McVeigh. I am happy to say they have proved me completely wrong. well played boys, you have both stood up recently and lead the way...Comment
