My Dad eent to the 1996 and 2006 GF and we lost. He did not go to the 2005 GF and we won. He is not going this year to the GF. I see that as a good omen.

I just completely made this one up and it doesn't count for 2006, but whatever.

All of our premierships have come in years with repeating numbers. (1909, 1918, 1933, 2005) And 2012 has two 2's.

Dont let him near the ground. Tie him up if you have to. Post him air express to Madagascar or there abouts. Hell l'll even pay the freight if it means a win :0)

My omen, as I've moaned repeatedly, is that I can't make my first GF as a real-live Aussie & Swans supporter due to just having surgery! First discovered AFL waaay back when I was a mere Yank, in 2005 on my first trip to Oz (a very good year) ... we won't mention 2006 (still in US though) ... and I've waited (semi-)patiently for our next GF appearance. Then as a good returned uni student, I shhhheduled this op for the mid-semester break, only to realise with horror that it+recovery time overlapped the semi-final and Grand Final. SWANS VS UNI - GOOD LORD WHERE WERE MY PRIORITIES.
Anyway, since I can't make an event I've waited for since arriving, settling, and getting citizenship - yea, e'en moreso than having being close to a wombat in the wild - obviously to complete my frustration (a happy frustration, I swear!) we will win.
I'll be good for the victory parade though.

A psychic told me we're going to win the granny. She also said we were going to win the PF.
I also asked "the chain".... (the answer in a circle it's a yes, the answer in a line it's a no).
                    The chain said yes.

Ask Scott... he witnessed it (and told me not to wear out the yes answer).
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I've been sticking pins into a Franklin doll all year, though not with the results I was hoping for.

Last I saw it my little cousin had it perched on a matchbox car and it was amongst a pile of other matchbox cars.

A psychic said to me years ago that I would become wealthy and have a bevy of beautiful women at my beck and call. Now because I don't believe in this mumbo jumbo I have worked extremely hard to prove her wrong. I have been stunningly successful in doing just that.

I'm pretty sure a psycho told you that, not a psychic.
