If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Not a bad way to wrap up a great year.

Now we just have to fill in a few months watching replays of virtually every 2012 game till season 2013 see's us back in the stands cheering our champion team.

I love the Josh Kennedy story. Cast aside by the club and team that was his by birthright, taken to the Swans as a youngster and nurtured into an elite, gun footballer. We adorned him with accolades and medals and hearing him speak now - well he's as much a son of this club as any other. Congratulations Joey may you forever more be known as a Blood.

Well done to Teddy, ROK and all other recipients too. Teddy especially is a loved favourite - his family must be so proud to have such a kind and sweet son.

What a year guys! I've loved every minute of it.

Agreed highlight of the night was the presentation to Skilts.

Am I reading it right that O'Keefe only scored 40 points out of 50 in the GF? Hard marking...

No, I'm sure he polled 45pts along with Hanners and Macca in the GF.

That would make more sense, was just going from the following in the article, which was perhaps in reverse order...

"Just four votes separated second and third place, following a strong finals? campaign from O?Keefe, which saw the midfielder poll scores of 45, 50 and 40 in his three finals matches."

I still miss Adam Spencer, though. Did a great job as the MC in 2010

A big round of applause to us RWO-ers ! Reckon we did a good job of picking the top BSM vote-getters.
