Crowd Only Soundtrack
Can't wait... But if it's like the 2005 model, then I'm going to get VERY sick of the commentary... I emailed sportsdelivered.com to ask if they could make a "crowd only" soundtrack option available. They said "there was not enough demand......"
Like to create some demand? please email and ask them! Power to the people!!

I know the speculation in the other thread was that the blueray was just upscaled SD but does anyone know for sure that the game wasn't shot in 1080P by Channel 7? I've got 7 hours of coverage on my PVR which I can download to my PC but Full HD would be worth the price.Comment

Turning the sound down works fine - for a silent movie. But having been to both 2005 and 2012 GFs (away overseas in 2006), the roar of the crowd makes it even more special. So why not demand of the DVD makers the same as we ask of the Club? Do the best job you can, win or lose... Can it hurt to ask?

MUST HAVE
Just watched today the Geelong miracle & the StKilda PF from 05 Victory Pack.
Must have, though I am prepared for price to ease a little...got last one from Sanity a bit later for 49.95.
So important to have the set because it is easy to forget the details of the other games.
Today helped me to appreciate,
how long ROK has been great but he is better now than he was in these games,
the true legend status of Buchanan...even if the length of his very good days was relatively short...just wonderful in these games,
that Davis is a "could have been" champion...but a legend for 15 minutes of football,
that Dempster looks a little bit better (like the StKilda player!) when viewed through different eyes,
that Schneider in full flight (not often enough) was a joy to watch...
that Leo is much better than his "loopy" moments...truely a legend,
that Ball gave everything he had in that series,
that even our little Ablett had some good days.
Perhaps I'll notice some other things next time!Comment

I am with you Gary. You have highlighted all the best bits, especially how good Monty was and I will add
the three goals in the final Saints quarter by Schneider.
not just Davo's 4 goals, but the absolute frantic level of fight that went on in the final minutes of that quarter
the fact that I am glad that I have never been inclined to play footy myself and am happy to watch my warriors do it for me. It looks like hard work as well as mighty achievement.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment
