Moore also confirmed following the conclusion of the trade period that senior listed players Brett Meredith and Nathan Gordon had both been delisted.

Meredith played 16 matches with the Swans after joining the Club via the 2007 National Draft, while Gordon - originally a NSW scholarship player - managed two games in his time with the Club, both in 2011.

Nipper also tried, but was stuck within his ability. Frustrating to watch this year. Gave away so many unnecessary frees, you had the feeling it was a do or die situation, and it looks like die it is.

Yes on face value the aforementioned trade is a fail, but ask yourself who would Dempster or Schneider replace in our 2012 GF side?

Clubs have to turn over their lists, or you end up standing still, which is the same as going backwards in this game.
