    TLM Countdown 2012, Rnds 5-6

Round 5: Sydney Swans (106) def Hawthorn (69), Aurora Stadium

Adam Goodes broke Michael O'Loughlins club games record against Hawthorn.
The game started poorly for the swans with the Hawks dominating the first quarter. But the Swans managed to hold on in the second term.
In an extraordinary turn of events, the swans the decided to play some tough football and started to win the centre breaks against their much more fancied opponents, and then ran away with the game in the last quarter. Kennedy was a force to be reckoned with in the 2nd half against his old team.
3 Goals each to Goodes and Kennedy, whilst Kennedy also laid 11 tackles. Hannebery had 30 posssessions.

    Swans by 37.

    Brownlow : 3. J Kennedy (Syd), 2. D Hannebery (Syd), 1. A Goodes (Syd)

Round 6: Sydney Swans (94) def by Adelaide Crows (99), SCG

Another sluggish start to the game saw the swans trail one of their bogey teams by 4 goals at the first break.
Jack and Goodes helped get the Swans back into the game in the 2nd, then 3 goals from Goodes in the 3rd saw them hit the lead for the first time.
Unfortunately, they could sustain the attack, and the Crows kicked the first 4 goals of the last quarter. In typical fashion the swans kicked the last 2 goals, but couldn't find another to win the game.
Goodes 5 goals. Jetta had a great game with a career high 27 possessions. Bolton(13) and Jack(11) were the tackling machines.

    Crows by 5.

I love ya Goodesy, but even you're not going to be able to do a last minute run down over little Joey!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
