Reid was sub off in the first quarter with a knee injury and Goodes limped off later in the game with a cork.
Gold Coast tried hard, but the class of the Swans was never going to let this game slide.
O'Keefe (36) and Kennedy (32) led the disposals for the swans but couldn't keep up with the master Ablett who amassed 42. LRT finished with 4 goals and Bolton with 3. Pyke again stodd up in the ruck almost solo with 47, more than the entire GC team.

Swans playing for a top 4 spot. Carlton playing for a finals spot. Who would be more desperate. Judd was chicken winged. Reid is missing with a knee injury.
LRT filled in ably at Full Forward kicking the first goal of the game.
The swans jumped out to a handy lead, but let the Blues get some late goals in every qtr to keep them in the game.
In the end the Swans were far to strong and desperate and it was a comfortable win.
3 Goals to McGlynn who earned them after some close "attention". Hannebery led the possesion count with 31. 11 tackles to OKeefe.
Unfortunately, Jude Bolton limped off in the last quarter with a potential serious knee injury.
