    TLM Countdown 2012, Rnds 20 -21

Round 20: Sydney Swans (70) def by Collingwood (78), ANZ

Swan (Dane) faced a club imposed sanction, and Cloke was not in great form. Could this be the game to break the hoodoo??
Again, LRT nails the first goal of the game, but this was to be the only goal of the quarter, as the pies land 3 goals, but lose Thomas to a leg injury following a tackle from Pyke. Both teams traded blows for the next two qtr, with the swans holding a 1 point advantage at the last change. 1 goal 5, to 3 goals 2 saw the swans go down again.

2 goals to LRT. 40 possessions to Kennedy and 8 tackles. 9 tackles to Parker.

Pies by 8. The Swans hang on to top spot by the superior percentage.

Round 21: Sydney Swans (167) def Western Bulldogs (85), ES

Reid back in and Morton in for his first game in the Red and White.
The dogs threw a few surprises, including Lake into the Forward line who kicked the first goal. Griffen was on fire and it showed on the scoreboard with the Dogs leadin by 3 goals at the first break. After the 10 minute mark of the 2nd term the Dogs led by 17 points. The swans the stamped their mark on the game by kicking the next 10 goals without reply. They led by 34 at the last change. Then piled on 10 goals to demoralise the dogs. Morton chipped in for a few goals to show some promise in his first game. Goodes also showed some glimpses of form.

LRT, Goodes, Pyke and Mumford all finished with 3 goals. Pyke was having the game of his life before rolling an ankle and being subbed off.
14 goal scorers. Josh Kennedy had 34 possessions. 9 tackles to O'Keefe.

    Swans by 82.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Looks like Annie is getting the succession plan in order for when Adam retires.

Also looks like the redandwhiters are spot on in regard to Joey being BOG and mentioning Ted, wrong about Kiz, and forgetting Peb.

      What would we know.

Prims, I'm torn between two loves.
