Weren't those trades in 2009? That well-known football sage BT refers to the 'Swans 2009 superdraft'.The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

50 per cent success has to be counted as pretty good, I suppose. Especially considering how well the good ones have contributed.
We will be looking pretty good in three years if half of the current crop of new recruits make similar contributions within the next three years.Comment

I realise the 2013 season is only just started but I thought I'd look ahead a bit to the 2013 draft after reading this 'fluff' article on James Aish, as a teaser to the 2013 draft.
Aish makes it count - AFL.com.au
After seeing him play on a few occasions last year, including the SANFL Grand Final... see:
Aish already hot property - YouTube
...(and- showing my age - his dad and uncle in a couple of SANFL Grand Finals) I'd be happy to bet James is the No.1 draft pick this year. Indeed, if it wasnt for his age, IMO he would have been a top 5 draft pick last year.
And then happy to double up and bet he'll win a Brownlow sometime in his career, if he doesn't injure himself.
James Aish is a Freak-of-Nature footballer, who the Swans absolutely must find a way to draft.
And if you're not yet convinced, here's James' pedigree:
