Just like a few of us do between eateries at Skoda Stadium. Yummy I can't wait for the chips and kebabs next season. Now you know the real reason for attending GWS games.
When oh when will the scg trust get some decent food at the scg. Whether corporate or in the stands the food is a disgrace. The poor swans cop it from fans relentlessly and have no real say in the absolute crap that is served up.

Scg, top 3 footy venue to watch in the land, worst food.

We always eat well at the SCG . . . . but then we bring our own lunches.

Yep, it's bloody awful. It's why I bring my own food now. Not only cheaper but there's less chance of riding the porcelain bus later on.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

No joy at the SCG then. Carlton Draught? Urrrghhh!

And what's with the "Made from Beer" phrase?

Is it Beer or it "Made from Beer"?

I think it's an important destinction because after a few hours in the pub, I go to the bathroom and the result is most definitely "Made from Beer" . . . . . but I wouldn't recomend drinking it.
Although I suppose it's possible the SCG caterers are running some sort of sinister recycling system, and they really are serving piss? And not just in the colloquial sense.

Not a fan of Carlton draught? For a regular pub tap beer, you can do far worse than that. Tooheys New, West end draught, xxxx, give me the carlton draught ( or VB) any day.

Boags draught is the best basic beer ( <$35 for a slab/carton ) in the land for my money.

                    By a long shot.

Carlton is ok, but not the way it tastes at the SCG. Allegedly the renovations will include new food outlets, new choice, blah blah blah. I'll believe it when I'm eating decent food and drinking decent beer. Whilever the model involves a catering contract, it'll be garbage. Open it up to competition and lease the food & drink outlets individually.

They confirmed to me on twitter that the plan is to have microbrewery at the ground as part of the renovations.

Sounds great, but can you imagine the cost.

Does get a bit tedious when you have a choice of pies , chips, overcooked chicken and pizza ;with a six buck plastic cup of undrinkable goon.

Oh, I forgot the steamed hamburgers.

Normally got ciders, but then some RSA nazi thought that as it wasn't a "light" beverage, it was classified a spirit and therefore was a restricted volume item - ridiculous!! Lucky that only happened once. I do understand why they have to do it as games do go for a while and then all of a sudden you stand up to cheer a goal and you've fumbled forward over the barrier but cider?! Really?! lol

PS the Turkish food upstairs isn't bad!

Not to forget the thimble sized cups of coffee brewed by 'baristas' who would be more at home steaming dim sims then steaming milk...

There's one at Skoda Stadium, presumably to appeal to the multicultural community in Sydney's West!

The new cafe they opened underneath the O'Reilly stand a couple of years ago isn't too bad for a bite before the game.
