    Proudly Sydney

I saw "Proudly Sydney" as being in reference to winning the Premiership and being proud to be a member of the Premiership team the SYDNEY Swans.

Proudly Sydney, and we are going to have a Gay Pride game.

Honestly, isn't anyone in marketing using their brains?

I reckon it is more to do with being proud of the team we follow.
          Proud of their efforts.
          Proud of their ethics.
          Proud of their achievements.
          Proud of the club.
          Proud to be a member.

It wasn't that long ago, we weren't a very proud club at all, before Big Ron stepped in, Followed by Big Dick.
The club has only got better and stronger ever since.

I'm still proud to wear my 2012 members cap at every opportunity.

Exactly. Back in the early 90's we were the laughing stock of the AFL. We embarassingly fronted up to games in Melbourne, only to be derided by everyone. There wasn't much to be proud of the club that I had supported for so long back in those days. I even remember the Snake Tales cartoon in the Herald Sun having a dig at how pathetic Sydney was back in those days. Now that is a real low point.

Now being a Sydney supporter is something I am so proud of.

Yep "Proudly Sydney" says it all for me.

              Good point Scott.

I guess it's a motto that has different meaning for everybody. Which is good.

                  Yes.
It's much better than "Passionate and Paid up" or the like.

I don't know! I quite like it. A little too direct for some people, naturally.

It was Hawthorns a few years back.
