Typical primitive internet streaming here in australia! Can't wait till we catch up to the rest of the modern world and get decent servers and broadband that can actually handle live feeds! Through all the pauses and crashes i saw a pretty decent win by the boys against a very weak side. Plenty of improvement left in us though! Good hit out.

Comfortable win. McVeigh had a blinder, Jesse again played really well as did Armstrong.

Johnson will be a massive loss if he is seriously injured.

Amongst the outsiders, only Rampe got a game so looks like he is the chosen one for an upgrade.

Playing in Adelaide next week suits me just fine, the whole family will get down to AAMI!. Reckon Swans supporters could outnumber Port supporters!

                hhhmmm

Mattner back to playing the third tall and or rotating with LRT playing more in the backline against the teams with tall forward rotations ?

Awful news for AJ - real shame and a big loss for us. Id expect lrt will return to his favoured position down back.

With Johnson out for 12 months, LRT to go down back, Everitt or White to come in and help Goodes and Reid up forward untill Tippett comes in.

                        Just feel awful for AJ.

As for the game it was good to see a lot of the 'best 22' have a solid hit out.

I watched Jesse very carefully and I thought he was quite good especially in the 1st half when he played mainly forward. Now I'm not saying he's turned things around because he's done this before but I was impressed with the work rate and the decision making. Fingers crossed he can give us that on a consistent basis.

Whoever is coating Sammy Reids hands with vaseline before a game I wish they'd take a hike.

Lucky we have soft start to the year. Smith and Mattnermay also be missing for the first couple of games.

Awful luck to AJ if that's what it is - but someone with his confidence and ability can bounce back, and he's young. I think we can cover for him this year and then he'll slot back in effortlessly for the threepeat...
