My three-vote player was very easy to pick. Two-votes selection fairly easy as well. As for the third - after conceding a big score , I do see the irony of giving a vote to a defender ! I guess it all balances out : when we win well , our back six don't always get enough plaudits .

Sadly I would not be giving plaudits to all six for last night's match. We are badly missing Johnson and Shaw and now LRT as well. Tough days ahead for the defence line - Ted, Reg and Marty can't do it all.

It was the back six's fault the ball came in so easily.

Did you mean that it was NOT the back six's fault that the ball came in so easily? I certainly agree with that - there was no defensive pressure up the field as Longmire has said very strongly. That ping/pong first quarter set the tone for the match with our defence from the midfields and forwards being virtually non existent.

            I think it's called irony.

                Rounds 1-3 averaged 47 voters.

Only 35 so far for Round 4.

Still a day to go to get your votes in.

And I find it is easier to pick three (well at least two) in games we lose. The good ones stand out.
