Problem is Reid doesnt get his hands on the footy often enough. Might end up being a defender like his brother.Comment

From completely awful to mediocre? I don't like to be a downer on players, but he is just too inconsistent at this stage for my liking. For everything good he does, he does something poor to offset it, and his tackling is well pretty orgindary to say the least.
As for Parker, I think he's not improved - just getting back to the level we saw glimpses of when he first burst onto the scene. He is a gun, no doubt about it. Can't wait to see a firing Tom Mitchell in the guts as well - our midfield will be well served when the older generation retires"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Needs to spend 12 months in the gym and on the tackle bags.Comment

Absolutely. He clearly seems a confidence player, but its so frustrating at the moment to see him do everything right to get in position to put pressure on and then a limp tackle ruins the effort. The problem for us is that it is costing us goals and hurting us on the scoreboard. Its not like he is playing in the forward pocket where putting the pressure on is as important as actually making an effective tackle. He is playing as a defender/in the midfield, where you need to make the tackles stick."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Without looking at his stats, I'd have to name Malceski as most improved. Didn't he get dropped for a few games last year? He's just been fantastic this season. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment
