Fantastic name! Why didn't we get this guy?!?!?!?!?!?!?I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

It's quite a grab bag of lineball hopefuls, isn't it ?
There's going to be a "cut" somewhere along the way - I reckon Bird, Rampe, Lamb, Morton will make the cut.
But the others are running out of chances. Jesse has been thereabouts for a while but hasn't really shown the mongrel needed, Armstrong can't string two performances together (though is really impressive in patches), and Walsh has had plenty of time to show that he's got it, but hasn't made his mark.
Everett seems to be running out of chances too - creates a handy loose target up forward but just doesn't seem to be able to think quick enough about his disposal.
It's a bit sad because, as someone else pointed out, some of these guys would be walk-up starts in other teams (especially Jesse). I could see Jesse as a James Podsiadly type - employed by the club as a nondescript witches hat but then his time comes and he shines !Comment

Walsh has only been here a year after being taken off the rookie list for St KIlda. How long did Pyke take?. Bit harsh.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

He actually beat both of them over 20m at the combineSammy is actually pretty quick Prim. Good tank too. Think he was not far behind Jets and Rooster in the 20m sprint at draft combine. I prefer him forward though. Hell be a great lead up Nick Riewoldt type, not necessarily your stay at home forward. He's still a baby, Tippets inclusion will see him soar I believe.Comment

I've noticed Sam's speed a couple of times in the last few games. Chasing down players. I was very surprised myself.Sammy is actually pretty quick Prim. Good tank too. If you're going to kick a bloke at least get your facts right.
White hasn't spent 5 minutes in defence at senior level, and early last year when he did play he rotated between ruck and forward, I wouldn't consider these games extended stints in either position.
Prior to 2012 however he played as a permanent forward.
I suppose 1 out of 3 aint badComment

What do you think he does when he is not playing seniors, peel the oranges? If you're going to kick a bloke at least get your facts right.

He plays in the seconds and he played just about a whole season at fullback a few years back. I'm not sure how you can think if he doesn't quite cut the grade in the seconds in a certain position we should see if he does it any better in seniors...Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment
