Ah, so glad to hear X is living up to my expectations and still improving each week. Must be amazing to have a live in mentor who plays the same position!

Would love to see Mitchell on the ground in the seniors soon.

Ainslie are my local team so I wandered down to have a look and was probably slightly supporting the Tricolours. Weird sort of a game... they had plenty of it in general play but our back half was just impregnable.

One thing I noticed was the coaches instructed Alex Brown, coming off the bench, to organise the defensive matchups. Possibly a sign that they rate his match sense and think he has backline generalship qualities.

I'm with you Al. I certainly hold hope for him. He might get another chance this week, if Reid doesn't come up.

Folks we are playing a top 4 side not GWS. Walsh has shown he struggles at the top level. If Reid doesn't play then give Brown a run. Ressies watchers say he can play forward and back. If not Brown then just play Mitchell now.

In the huddles he does a lot of the talking with the defensive group. Very organized and compact with his play as well. On his form this year he'd have to knocking on the door for selection.

Funnily enough Xav reminds me of Stephen Silvagni. Super confident a great mark and just knows where to put his body at the right time. He judges the ball so well. The other thing that also reminds me of Silvagni is how he runs off his opponents and sets plat up for the team from the back half. I think he is very exciting.

I wonder how he'd go with the hands in the back rule applied?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Can any reserves watchers tell me how my boy Membrey is going?

Absolutely love the look of him. Strong for his age, good hands and a clean pair of heels.

It's little wonder in Jimmy's opinion why we play White and Walsh when we have injuries whilst we have young talent coming through. We've seen what White and Walsh offer? I would've loved to see Membrey in this week.

Won't happen, but we need to start blooding more youth up forward. ROK is 32, Goodesy is 33, Jude is 30.

Need to start preparing for life after them in Jimmy's opinion.
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.
