Umpiring is terrible, but so are the Swans.

Grundy is having the worst game I have ever seen him play.

Seriously...they have finally succumbed to an unbelievable list if key injuries...played in a swamp....even lost our best player on the day right when the game was on the line! No big feather in Port cap, playing 50% reserves side...commentators raving like a GF win....sickening and upsetting but not at all unexpected all things considered...

Worst performance of the year. The doom and gloom predictions I dismissed were spot on. What a shocker. They will bounce back from this though.

Port did everything we pride ourselves on. They totally deserved the win. We were dominated most of the game. So many poor performances on our part it's hard to know where to start. Better to say nothing.

I guess coz like others who have worn the 14, he might not have the most talent but he works hard & puts his body in. Makes the most of what he's got.

A few players missing still which we have coped with in recent weeks

Armstrong struggled and so did our midfield to keep pace with a fast finishing Port winning something like 30 to 10 contested possessions

Port minimised Goodes influence and the rest of our forward line struggled to take on the Port backs

                              Missing players not helping either:

                              AJ
                              Shaw

                              Mummy
                              Reid
                              Mattner - retired
                              Rohan
                              Andrejs

Anyone who thinks we play well in the wet are as uniformed as the commentators saying this should suit the swans. Remember the blues game last year in terrible weather aand many others. It doesnt suit our style sure we are in and under but we break quickly, in those conditions it brings you back to the field. As for saying Armstrong was Ok in my opinion he should be in the Alice, Morts was also poor as were many others. Pyke missed Mummy and as someone noted earlier get him signed up. The mistakes in tghe backline were deplorable and Ryan was not his useual self. A bad game from Hanners but in the dry on top of the ground he thrashes Cornes, Very disappointing today they were probably beilievers in their own invincibility. At least that might be the bad game out of the way.
