Good for him. It must be a real thrill for the kids who get elevated via this list as they've done it the hard way in some cases. :-)

In the Reserves he plays the role that Mal & Macca play as the prime movers out of defence. He is a very good kick and shares the kick in duties, again ala Macca/Mal. He would have loved having Rhyce Shaw out on the ground last week as Shaw has been giving him some good advice while he has been injured and has taken a role of helping the young defence. I'd say that either, Macca. Mal or Rhyce would be his mentor. The kid makes pretty good decisions and is pretty quick.

I won't be surprised if he is a late replacement for someone. We do have a long injured list and need some others with AFL game-time in case any more go down and in case some good 'uns don't get back. It ould be nice to see if he can cut it at the elite level.
