It might be the worst possible home and away experience. Loosing to Collingwood while listening to BT.

Pretty pathetic. Everything just went Collingwood's way. They won the 1%ers every time. Terrible skill errors. Midfield got flogged. If it weren't for Tippett we would've been thrashed.

          Poor effort.

I ****ing hate ANZ stadium. A home ground advantage every 20 years or so would be nice.

He's just kicked a goal , but a poor night for JPK. I have never been his biggest fan , so the one consolation is that he may , finally , have lost his 'sacred cow' status.
Teddy is a must for TLM votes.
Pendlebury best on ground - not only got the ball , but used it very well.
We have to concede that we were beaten by a better team on the night.
So , like last year , we have lost a late season H&A game v Pies . Now to replicate last season's late season H&A losses to Cats and Hawks... then make it deja vu on 28th September .

i thought our midfield got dominated and no matter who won the tap out the pies seemed to pick it up

when you have 6 or 7 of your best 22 still out you will be tested and the better team won today - the pies commitment to win the ball was clear cut - first, second and third the PIES tonight

Some reports last week said how sore the boys were after the bulldogs game. To me the look like they were suffering a hangover from that. Some very un-swans-like attack on the ball. Worst the midfield has been beaten this year.

Agree with these comments. They played better than we did, beat us at our own game. Skills too often woeful. We didn't position ourselves for each other when we had the ball and kicked in hope far too often. They manned up better than we did, passed more accurately by hand or foot and (of all things) outran us. Maybe last week took too much out of us, but the Doggies did OK today. Pity we didn't.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

You are dreaming. You have to finish top four to have any GF chance. If we don't win the last three, then we may as well forget about 2013. They were so bad tonight it is had to judge. Maybe a bit flat after several wins? But they will now need to win every game for the ret of 2013. Even if we lose, I hope I don't have to watch a effort like that again. I see White and everitt were back to the usual old shocking game.

I would like to suggest something really outrageous - that we play Collingwood at our home ground, the SCG, next year. Crazy I know, but its time we left Homebush to GWS, or at least play some other teams there if we are held to the AFL's ridiculous contract....

We've got to give several of our midfielders a rest next week, even if it means risking a loss to the Saints. Our midfield looked shot. Our best chance is to freshen up and see how we go with a rested midfield v. Geelong.

Hanners looked injured, didn't tackle as hard as he usually does. Not enough support.

I'm devo! Thank god for Rampe

We shouldn't use ANZ as an excuse for tonight. We were just beaten by a better team on the night.

Mind you, I'm not saying anything new when I suggest homebush is a crap place to watch afl. I look forward to a packed out redeveloped SCG next year.

White is a good player and should be in the side. But he needs to be in the side working as a leading forward next to Tippett. Complete STUPIDITY to just let him float around the ground. We have other players who are much better at that. He performs his best when he has a task, and a task that suits his stengths. Longmire, don't ****ing bother to play White if you are going to play him as a leading forward all the time.

I would've liked to have seen Morton in the side tonight. You got what you deserved coaches.

When I saw Hanners' haircut, I had a bad feeling about what was to follow.

I asked myself "can it get worse than that?" Unfortunately, the answer was YES.
