This is about as ugly I have seen us play in the past few years. Don't even look like making something of our forward entries. The ball basically hasn't gone over half way but we don't even look like it - and then they do a slingshot the length of the field quite comfortably.

Freo belted Melbourne. Their percentage is huge now. We're a bit ****ed."Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the Swans win pretty."Comment

I made a comment here about the boys not building our % toward the end of most of their recent winning games...it is now back to haunt!!!!....just the START of our current worries now though...Comment

Glad we kept shaw and McGlynn in - the two of them look like the only runners we have this week

Thank god Pyke is there. Now use players other than Tippett and make Tippett a false leadComment

Anyone got Mr Sheen? We're in need of some polish."Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the Swans win pretty."Comment

Finally we are actually hitting leading targets instead of the just bomb to the top of the square stuff.Comment

Well that was a bloody ordinary first half. We would need massive improvement to have any hope over the next two weeks. Some of the players are "just going" - not going to name them but it is pretty obvious.
Shaw and Parker are the only ones really presenting IMHO.Comment

Crappy first half there. Doing enough just but playing very poorly. We need to STOP trying to kick it to Tippett every time - in the last ten minutes when we got our eyes down and started looking for other targets we looked so much better.
We need to win this by 10 goals + to give ourselves any chance of getting in front of Freo. But maybe our best hope is to tank and finish 4th, rather than try and get an unlikely 2nd and probably end up third and playing against Freo away from home in week 1."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Other teams have figured out if ramp up the tackling pressure, put an extra man on Tippett - which we were letting them do - and sit on Jack and Hannebery we're vulnerable.
