    Possible, but I think we are looking like an easier target than Freo at the moment.

        Im sure Hawthorn would much prefer us in week 1 of the finals than Freo. Freo have a game well suited to the MCG, and are great at suffocating teams (like we were last year). Hawthorn would be pretty wary of trying to tank to make that matchup happen, I'd expect.

            It is in both teams interest that Hawthorn wins. If Hawthorn wins, they will play Friday night. We are the weakest of the top 4 at the moment, so they probably would prefer to play us.

            We need a breather to recover from our heavy injury toll. Geelong have shown that they have our number at the moment, while Hawthorn have shown some vulnerability, so probably preferable for us as well.
