Smith, Hannebery and Tippett straight back in, and maybe Jetta if he gets through the reserves game.
Morton and Cunningham straight out. Biggs did well, but he probably won't stay. Rohan not doing enough, but he could play as a sub.
My big call - Craig Bird out. He turned it over far too often tonight. That could prove too costly. It cost us a couple of goals tonight.

Anyone want to speculate on the timeslot so we can start planning flights and accommodation

I'm thinking it will be a Friday night?

We need jetta in next week he's speed is a must but he needs to play the game of his life. We did look good when we moved the ball on fast by hand tonight to a man clear. but we also need a swingman another big backman lrt would also be the man if fit. I would like to have seen towers play tonight in the forward line his is a player we just don't, have a lot of at the swans. Also like seen membrey play tonight but it was just to late to try player like brown, locker. But b jack played really well tonight and will worrie the hawks next week with his ball movement. Next week will need to change the game plain and stop passing the ball forward to oppositions team. Another teams are just waiting for the swans to move it forward, Geelong and collingwood do this as there game plan, we need players forward closer to the player so we can pass it on. Handball like geelong until a man is free. The swans need move the ball on fast, also don't, boom it into the forward line unless there a leading forward hold onto the ball out side the 50 and wait for the forward lead in finials wait for a 20m pass. We were so good at it a few years back. We also need the centre player to run the ball in the corridoor longer and run into the forward line next week and start kicking goals or short pass to leads forget long kick into forward in next weeks game unless on a lead. We also need a big centre player on rurfhead put white on him when he movie into the centre because hawk are having two jump up in the ruck against one swans ruckman also add white in the centre when Mumford is forward. We Also need Morton in and sorry Bolton to miss out bolton kicking distances is too short and hes too slow now on the leads great when he finds some space, I love Bolton but Morton can kick longer as shown tonight long goal can win games. we need morton forward skills next week, when Benny is playing up the ground. Rohan was great down back tonight he gives us speed in the back line when hawks are on top. Swing Everett forward when rohan is back to give us the third tall option. Also like a man back near goals next week hawk kick it on the ground towards goals we need to cut the easy goals off and run the ball out from goal right away. With centre players when michael is near the ball someone get in close for his handball to often he has no one pass the ball to jett would be the man We also need a Goode's type player in the centre to stop hawks run. Maybe towers can do the Goode's role next week a big call but it would be one for the cards. I going next week and I know we have to stop hawks rebound from back and centre clearances to take it out at the g. Need to kick straight. Final are here game on.

Scheduling is complicated by the fact Freo can't host a final at Subi on the Saturday because the ground is booked out. Does that mean their QF will get the Friday night slot so they have a week to recover. (I'm assuming they'll lose it!)

I'm feeling like we're back. I know both teams were likely foxing a fair bit but I think we've been prepping well for finals that past month.

Totally doubt Freo/Cats game will be Friday night, this whole grounds saga is because the other 3 finals need to be played at the MCG for capacity reasons and I believe they've ruled out a double header.

Hawks were minor premiers and both teams will have had a week's rest so it'll be Friday night for sure. Team changes look fairly predictable.

In: Hannebery, Smith, Tippett, Jetta (sub)
                  Out: BJ, Biggs, Cunningham, Morton

No charity games for Mitch at this time of year obviously and his injuries have obviously spoiled his chances of getting back in but I was delighted that he got a run on Friday night and kicked what will probably be his last senior goal.

I read it and started formatting it to repost but it's actually very poorly written. Swans, I don't know what you were on when you wrote that but you may want to try rewriting it as formatting alone wont help you.

In reply to a few of your points...

I don't think Jetta will be in next week and the Swans have shown they don't need him for the finals. Morton will not replace Jude, a retiring 300+ gamer for the bloods. Yes we need LRT. like duh. Wont happen. Yes our forward 50 entries don't seem to be as clinical as the Cats or Hawks and we do seem to be impatient to keep the ball moving. No Towers will not be coming in to play a 'Goodes like role' next week.

I sorry about my long post is was on my new tablet and hit some button before formatting.

It appears after the reports from the reserve
game today. That Jetta didn,t do alot to put the world on fire and may miss again this week.

BJ did a great job this week and should keep his spot for the weeks that jetta is out.

We need another fast running tall in the back line, that can swing forward and back

In: Hannebery, Smith, Tippett, BJ, Morton or lamb sub
                        Out: Biggs, Cunningham, Bird

                        Emergency T. Membrey , D. Towers

Biggs did well for a first gamer, but there is no "probably" about his inclusion next week. He will be first out. Did make a shocking decision when he played on in the back pocket after Rohan won a free for HTB.

Rohan I thought was massively improved over last week. He's still finding form and fitness and definitely needs to be retained.

Bird being dropped is a massive call - too big to be true in my book.

I didn't see the reserves, but I can't imagine us risking Jetta in such a big game after such a long absence and so-so for before that. Only Goodes (or possibly LRT) would get a pass like that.

Thought Jesse went missing a bit in the second half. The ball seemed to come out of the forward line too easily, but there's not much can be done about that other than bringing in Tippett.
