Why is every single Sydney player in defence? What about our structures? What is Horse doing? We're not going to win it flooding they're backline, they're the best in the business at finding space.

Doesn't matter anyway, game over. Hope the Swans can learn from this and come out next week a different team.

How long do they have to get rid of the ball.

Why is everybody so shocked at our performance tonight? We were unable to beat the two top side the whole season, so what makes you think we can do it tonight? If we scrap to PF it will be the best we'll achieve for this year. Be realistic about this, don't have too high expectations.

We have really missed goodes tonight

...and too many passengers. Bolton should be dropped. Sorry old Son but you did nothing and this is finals.

...and our disposal skills have been appalling. Not of a standard that is needed to win games like this.

He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

We have to prepare for life without Goodes, but I agree we have missed him terribly over the last few weeks. Why have we declined so quickly this year and what can we do to fix it?

We play better without Tippett for one. He's a fantastic player, but I don't think we're using him as we should be. We'd do far better running and carrying than bombing long to him EVERYtime.

@@@@ing lazy ass attack on the ball by Kennedy results in a goal for Hawks.

Does anyone else get annoyed by Bruce McAvaney & find him subtly biased against Sydney?
Any praise for opposition efforts almost sounds like he's doing his best Meg Ryan impression, & always nit-picking the Swans at every opportunity.
Not just tonight either, every time I hear him commentate.

What's that word that everyone has used all year to describe the Swans midfield? I think it was 'ELITE'. Yes, history can be very humorous.
"Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the Swans win pretty."

Just logged in to check the negativity levels - as expected. Hawks have stepped it up in the 3rd and we haven't had the class to go with them at this stage. Not completely surprising, but I put it down more to the Hawks playing well than us not, but what should I expect from a game day thread when we're losing?

Want to see a solid 4th qrtr effort....

I am disappointed because the hawks were completely beatable tonight, but the swans are just so very very poor tonight.

Watching the coaching staff at 3/4 time - they look completely lost with match ups.

The reality is that we weren't fixing with our form over the past four weeks. It represents a very poor slide.

Stats at 3/4 time have 79 marks to 32 which represents just how comfortably they have passed it around. Our midfield is just too slow currently, Bolton, macca, Parker, rok constantly trailing and not able to win the ball.

Grundy has been unbelievably poor tonight with his disposal. But to his credit he doesn't hide.
