I liked his passion and enthusiasm, but he just couldn't get it together on the field. Good luck to him if he gets another chance with the Pies or elsewhere...

Until his contract expires. I believe that's tomorrow.

Can't be a surprise to him after not being able to get a game before Biggs, Xav, Rampe, et al.

Oh well. That's six players off our books, one in, two promotions. Seven if we include Lamb.

Its funny because he actually looked half decent in the IR series, his tackling was good. Might say more about the strength of the All Indigenous team...

Would quite like to see him stay involved with the Swans if he cannot get another gig. Perhaps a local captain-coaching role and something with the academy.

Hate how the Bogans have been delivered all the plum regions (Broken Hill, Riverina) and we get the scraps

he'll go to pies as insurance for replacement of heath shaw. They will probably use him as a kick in specialist and running half-back should there be backline injuries. I don't agree with Buckley's strategy as they have a lot of undersized guys on their list.

I reckon he will get a contract elsewhere. Good luck , Tony !!

                        Seems like a good bloke.

He's great at the team song....But he doesn't handle the intensity of AFL level footy.

Hope he gets another chance, but I can't see us regretting letting him go.

Best of luck 'Cool boy Tony A'.

Twill be interesting if the rumours are true that C'wood will pick him up as a free agent. He is a bit too......indie for a Collingwood type.

"Indie"? You mean he has not covered himself in cheap, prison-style tattoos?

                              Seems the rumours were true.

Collingwood snaps up Tony Armstrong as Dylan Addison and Robin Nahas find AFL clubs - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

And Nahas was discussed in a thread somewhere? - going to North.
