Conversely I was going to dump PC this year after all levels of membership were able to get GF tix in 2012, thought I could save a dollar ( or four as I pay for four memberships), but as soon as Buddy signed on I thought better of it.
Whilst the membership numbers might be a few shy of what they'd hoped, I still think the Budster would have the club accountants smiling.

    Well done.
I upgraded mine and my daughters membership this year for the same reason.

I'm sure we are not the only ones.

There's no cap on footy department spending (as yet, and should be IMHO). So we can upgrade our facilities, sports scientists, training locations, recovery, data collection etc with all the extra coin. Pay for for more/better non footy related staff/their training improvement. It all ads up.

I don't think there's a cap regarding how much income/revenue you can generate, probably just a cap on how much you can spend on players (at the moment).

When visiting celebs and dignitaries visit, they're invariably wheeled out with a couple of Swans players and given a shirt. We're in a very strong position in that regard, which is one of the reasons why we are so important to the AFL.

Apparently our three major partners pay $1m for the honor, every year. And more have signed on with Buddy

Most big companies have the HQ in Sydney. Doesnt suprise me at all.

I have no doubt Franklin has paid for himself this year w.r.t membership.

If that is sarcasm, I am sure there are people who purchased memberships this year because of Franklin. I up-graded to premiership membership on the back of getting Franklin. So whilst mine is not another membership it is an up- grade

Membership figures are rubbery. Some are below cost, some are only for a few games.

The only figure we shoukd care about is memberhip revenue and we are in the bottom 8 for that.

Not all our members live in the same city so they won't be at all games.
