    Now we are being positive!!

I wonder how well Jesse went against Ted and Reg at intra club games?

I know you admire Jesse and want him to do really well at Collingwood. Be true to yourself and to me and admit that you have been on the Jesse express since it arrived at More Park in late 2006!
So you'll take aardvark's post as a personal apology from me? Well played....

To be clear, I like Jesse and do hope he does well at Collingwood. Having watched most of his games in both grades for the past 7 years he's hard not to take a liking to, he seems to be a good team mate to have, always encouraging and seems a reasonable sort of bloke.

That doesn't change the fact he under achieved for the majority of his time at the Swans and regardless of what happens in the future I won't hold the Swans culpable for showing him the door...

Jesse himself said his improvement last year was the result of having worked hard in the pre-season for the first time ever.

But he is the kind of player who will kick a bag in the NAB and never be heard of again. I wish him well, but I do want to see Pies fans realise he's more Cameron Cloke than Peter Daicos.

          Mark Waugh disagrees!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

You got me there Triple B. He does seem like a good bloke and team mate! Maybe he will be back at the Swans as forward coach in a couple of years!

Maybe Jesse will come out of retirement and lace up for the Swans around the time that Buddy's contract expires. I'm sure he has more comebacks than John Rambo!

He's not a forward thinker. I think that is one of his drawbacks.

7 years is a long time.

IMHO i hope he fails at the pies..anyone who plays against the swans is an enemy, roos included.

Come on Spiffy! Jesse White is the AFLs version of the NFLs Steve Young.

Steve Young was a Bach up quarterback for the 49s who played behind legend quarterback Joe Montana in the late 80s. When Joe got injured in the early 90, Steve stepped up and became the best NFL quarterback of the 90s.

Jesse White is Steve Young in a AFL shirt and will go on to be one of the top 5 forwards in the AFL over the next 4 years.

Jesse stepped up after BBBBH's demise for one game, then went back under his rock.

Why should they apologise to you? If anything it would be to Jesse.

He has been criticised because RWOer's could see he had great potential and, has been pointed out, he only started to realise that potential too late for the Swans.
I will be happy to see him to well, seems like a decent bloke.
And as Dr. J said it would be great for him to show the Crows what they could have had. A six goal haul against them in rnd 9 would be nice.

Pies supporter at work is already calling him the new Wayne Carey!

But I think he's trying to get a bite out of me, which won't happen because I'm in the hope he does well, just not against us camp.
