The comments from the Swans Chairmen that "Buddy is being bullied by the media" are laughable.

He is a big sports star in Sydney like David Warner, SBW, Brett Stewart. When those boys step out of line the media jumps on all of them. He is earning 1.1 million a year for 9 years and this media scrutiny comes with the territory. It's certainly not bullying!

He gets photographed on the beach talking to a girl and the media makes it out that his relationship is on the rocks, he gives away free tee shirts at a product launch for his clothing lone and the media makes out that he was drunk and hurling clothing at people.
What ever Buddy does the media is waiting in the bushes waiting and hoping, and when he fails to create controversy they go ahead and make it up anyway.
That certainly smacks of bullying-million dollar price tag or not he deserves the same respect anyone else gets

The issue at hand isn't the general treatment of the famous by the media (which is wrong and ugly) but whether they are bullying Buddy-which they are
Just because one is famous, well paid and at the top of their chosen profession does not give the media or anyone else the right to publicly indulge in rumour or innuendo.

Buddy is not being bullied by the media. If he lived quietly in a non glamours suburb like Barry Hall (South Eastern Suburb) there would be no story. The party boy came to town and is making an impression.

I personally think the Buddy coverage is helping the Swans lift their membership numbers, but the coverage is not bullying.

Anyone read Caroline whatit's story? An object lesson in hyperbole. A fwiw I reckon it'd be pretty easy to overcorrect with an airbag in your face and hit another car or two (4 cars including the jeep?)

The story about Buddy and the Bikini babes was a typical News Corp gee up, and if anyone took it any other way , they are far too serious.
It does appear he could use the driver boot camp.

Yeah he's had repeated issues driving. I'd prefer he not die or kill someone so whatever can be done about his driving would be good.

Caro is right that the club (and Lance himself) should make sure he does minimal driving. He's a had a ridiculous number of prangs, plus there's his medical problem. No problems with his behaviour apart from that.
