Yes Ugg. Westfield Bondi Junction is one of the great shopping arcades of the World. Tom D has all the great clothing brands at his disposal, when he is preparing for a night out with Buddy and Hanners.
There is a wonderful Gold Class Fitness First for him at Westfield BJ. This will have him in good shape for the next summer at Bondi Beach.
There is a World Class food court to give Tom D all the wonderful flavours of the World. The view down to the Harbour is spectacular.
If Buddy and Hanners are preferring a slower paced evening, there is the amazing Gold Class Cinema. I think Tom D will put his hand up to drive both Hanners and Buddy to the movies or the three guys can take the 380 bus from Bondi Beach. The bus ride takes 10 minutes.
Westfield BJ is a great facility and is a compelling ad on to why life in Bondi Beach is great.Comment

Hadnt forgotten Torture in my assessment either. Cant split their output myself, which is perhaps historical revisionism but even if he places above Chambers it isnt by much is it? It's a low bar to clear. He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

Clearly I was referencing his actual undersized opponent. Jamar, although being "proper sized" was playing his first game for the year too so presumably lacking match fitness.

IMO I think he will be ok. Wont ever be a Mumford replacement, and I think that is the problem.Comment

Read the below article in Tom D. He is obviously loving Bondi Beach as I have been saying.
Is the media now bullying Tom D?

I seriously don't get the Derickx bashing by many on here. He's played 7 AFL games, repeat 7 games. He's 24 years old, been unfortunate to be on the list of one of the worst performed AFL clubs in recent times, (Ask Matty White about the Richmond player development) and people are condemning him already.
IMO I think he will be ok. Wont ever be a Mumford replacement, and I think that is the problem.
It takes time, but the club has demonstrated that it can make the most of players. Often by playing them in roles that don't result in big stats or getting themselves on highlight reels. Give the guy a chance. I'm reasonably certain that he's doing exactly what Longmire wants him to, or else he wouldn't keep getting selected.Comment

"He was de-listed by Richmond at the end of the 2013 season and was at a crossroads before the Swans offered him a lifeline."
How many Daily Mail readers would understand any of that?

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Mummy has had 2 games since getting to the little brothers. Knee. Again.
I don't understand the slagging off of TD. He is a ruckman delisted from Richmond ! for Pete's sake and in his first year under the guidance of the Ruck Whisperer. It takes years to develop. He gets to contests, has kicked goals, puts in, risen in value in my dream team. What more do you want? Blood? Well you got that too, courtesy of Jetts.
As for looking slight. - MikyPyke has lost volume to fit the mould. Speaking of which, who else do you have in mind to do TD 's job? Hmm? At present you have a choice of one. So stop this narkiness and support a Swan.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Using the Richmond excuse doesnt wash either. If we picked up a big fat bloke off the street (or from the grandstand) we'd similarly be able to say, well they've never played in the ruck so best we could hope for was to run at the opposition ruckman.
As I said earlier, I cant comment on the ability of the two Ns in ressies to come in and take his place, but the fact that we are left with him as our best option is really, really poor list management, albeit a turd in a pile of diamonds. He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

I remember when Cox was the greatest waste of time in the AFL. He developed okay. And I remember when NicNat was the great hope - not the subject of disparaging headlines.
I don't know where Pyke is at - he's not playing well and I don't think it's the loss of Mummy as he played enough games when Mummy was on the sidelines. I'm guessing it's an injury. And, like Liz, I've already suggested Ben McGlynn will get a ruck start before Goodes. And I'll cover my eyes if fragile Tippett does much rucking. So, at present, I'm thinking thank goodness for TD. And he provided a touch of comic relief in a very boring Dees game.Comment
