Forgot to mention Laidler. He was one of our best tonight.

Agreed. I'd say best were franklin Cunningham Kennedy and laidler. Hmm. Gotta narrow that down further to vote

I don't get the Gatorade bath after the debut.

After your debut, I would like to frame the jumper with a few grass stains and maybe a bit of blood. It would certainly need a wash after a drenching in Gatorade of all colours!

Not too much to get excited about, except that we managed not to lose. A lot of players well off the pace including young Lloyd. But Harry did well and so did Jetts. And Zak Jones had a pretty good first game. He seemed to pick up the pace of the game as it progressed and he got involved in a lot of play in the 4th qtr.

Looks as though Shaw will be gone for a bit with an ankle injury, and KJ didn't look too good either. We are now getting beaten at contested possession and will have to turn it around.
I think whoever comes back in that Jake Lloyd needs to have the Subs vest next week. He looked tired and it's hard for young players to be at a high energy level week after week.

          Brandon Jack is contributing well.

I believe he's been spending most of his time at half back in the magoos.

It does look a little barbaric doesn't it. Throwing bottles at people is not a great look.

Have you noticed that Franklin never does that? He must have an amazing aerobic capacity.

                    I agree on Jake.

Brandon brought good effort tonight, but his execution was well down on his best.

Just saw Skilts on ch7. What a legend. Three Brownlows in a bottom dwelling team and he stayed with us. I shook his hand yesterday for the first time. What a thrill.

Awful, ugly game but plenty of positives....

We have now shown we can win any style of game...Pretty, tough, ugly..That's a great sign.

Zac Jones is an excellent player...Just the way he went about it, you can tell, he's a beauty (Same way I feel about Mitchell)

Cunningham had his best all round game for the Swans, really starting to look good...Sorry GWS, we aint giving him back..

Jetta transformation continues....19 touches, 7.. yes.. 7 tackles . Great stuff Lewis.

Another great understated job by Bird, in stopping Cotchin in the 2nd half.

Another solid game from Laidler, he's been a great pick up.

Buddy's will to win, not a part of his game often acknowledged, is as strong as anybody's.

There's more where he came from just waiting to be given a go. 4 points and an 8 day break. Take that.

I reckon we could have done with rohans pace tonight... some of the tiggers cubs had some pace over our boys.. Like to know what he isn't doing to gte back into our team...

Lloyd looked tired.. I think put him back in the magoos for a rest... all in all we did look tired tonight, and I think horse mentioned that we had back to back 6 day breaks..

still its 4 points banked with all our injuries at the moment, like the hawks sometimes you just need to win them games...

upires need to bloiw the whistle quicker in the ball ups insetad of letting roll on and on

Ugly but determined win. Like the fact that Harry and BJ are gradually learning where to run to get more involved. BJ's disposal not great but he had the fact he got the ball in important places is a decent place to start.

Jones certainly adjusted to the tempo of the game with aplomb. Didn't look like a first gamer out there.

Given we had 5 players with fewer than 20 games to their name out there, it was a reasonably encouraging outcome. Looking forward to getting McGlynn back soon.

A cracked thumb will allow to continue running and be at good fitness levels when he comes back in. Hanners will not have the same luxury,
