A GC v. GWS grand final can't be far off.

Yes, we will have to bring our A game, but I think we will want revenge for the round 1 loss. We should be mentally switched on for this one.

Discussion on list management issues anytime of year is timely, because all clubs will have their work cut out for them to keep up with the expansions clubs. The ones that don't get it right won't have a chance against the kind of talent these clubs have.

That's good news. Did he say what the injury was?

I watched the recent game against NT at Drummoyne and his effort was awesome, breaking tackles and running hard.

I think it's time to back him or say goodbye.
I think Rohan will need another year under his belt. An injury like his is extremely painful and he's down on confidence.

I was thinking the same thing but I reckon our boys will have one thing on their mind this week, Revenge! We won't be taking it easy on them and I'm expecting them to send GWS a clear message of where they're at!

I wonder how many people would go to a GWS v GC grand final....I don't hate GWS but I'm not the slightest bit interested in watching them play..I will be there on Saturday to watch the swans ...

Yes. Especially if GWS go with Mummy, Patton & Boyd.

You're missing out. Watching Gold Coast and GWS play is watching exciting footy players develop before your eyes. Gold Coast have been great to watch all year and the Giants are now tracking on the same path. The West Coast and Richmond games are well behind them now, and having their key defenders and Whitfield (what a gun) back has made all the difference. We'll need to be at something close to our best to beat them.

                  as for GWS....meh

Back on topic. How many weeks have these "Changes for Round xx" called for Tom D to be replaced only for it to never happen. I think he will still be there come Thursday night.

Difference is that pyke is available to replace him with. That wasn't the case in earlier weeks

Biggs is a rookie and the only way he can be elevated is if one of our senior list goes on the long term injury list (Jake Lloyd has been promoted for Alex Johnson) He or Dan Robinson might have played last week if there was a spot available.

I like Zak at half-back, but if we want someone to replace Shaw's run and carry the Rohan's the guy.

Did Rohan play in the trail game on Saturday and if so how did he go. I would love to see him play a full game and play well but I am afraid this season is not going well for him.

Hopefully next year with another pre season behind him it will bring him back to the star he started out to be.
