It's a bit unfortunate to be brought as a late change for your debut.. No time for family to come, get your head right etc

I said it a couple of weeks ago that the Swans always like to make a big deal about their first game players...would be very surprised if Membrey was a late-inTwitter @cmdil

X was an Xceptional (haha geddit) case because Morton injured himself in the warmup. He wasn't expecting to play.Comment

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Tim Membrey's name has come up once again as a target for other clubs. This time in an article in the Age by Gary Lyon. Maybe we will have to give him a some game time to keep him happy. Here's the part on Membrey:
Tim Membrey (Sydney): The one position in which you are going to struggle to get a game in Sydney?s best team right now, unless your name is Franklin, Tippett, Reid or Goodes, is as a marking forward. Membrey, at 188 centimetres, was a star under-18 forward and would probably be playing as a legitimate third tall in 12 of the competition's 18 teams right now.
Hasn?t done himself any favours by not being as fit as he could be, but after a 47-goal debut season in the NEAFL last year, he has kicked 35 this season and has been named as an emergency for the Swans. Plenty of sides are in the market for a tall goalkicker.

I think finances will largely dictate this to be honest, plus I'd like to see Goodesy go out on top.
I'll trust the list management re Membrey but there may well be some interest, maybe a one year deal to give him a chance. I'll be keeping an eye on him tomorrow but it would be good for him to get a taste this year to prove himself

Im fairly excited for tonights game
I have this feeling that Brandon Jack is going to kick 3 or 4 tonight thru his relentless pressure and starting to understand his fellow forwards movement. My gut feeling is that the coaches would have had focussed on Brandon's defensive pressure all pre season and this season........but after the last couple of weeks being a little wayward with his kicks i am guessing it is now this area the coaches would have worked on with BJ
go my son !!!
