Probably one of the reasons I should never head the Swans.

A great businessman carefully considers the options open to them and then only goes on the offensive when the time is right and the necessary things are in place to ensure the plan succeeds.

If I was the swans (and Im not espousing that Im a great businessman) I would be lining up my ammo legally , having discreet discussions and gently paving the way by ensuring that they know that if the commission holds the line there is a chance the whole player trading system could come crashing down. If they play hard ball then maybe start playing it out in public but why run to the media and make threats at this stage.

They dont need to be friends with Eddie nor do they need the sympathy of eddies media. The AFL media agrees with the swans point of view, the deafining silence is proof of that and Gillon continues to make the AFL look silly with his interviews.

I believe that Eddie has deep admiration for Adam Goodes. I think they had a strong relationship before the trouble of last year. The radio incident was a screw up, but not the views of a racist man. Since that time Adam has washed his hands of Eddie. I think Eddie is yearning for Adam to forgive his slip of the tongue and to rekindle the good relationship they had before the radio incident.

Eddie has probably tried many times to get forgiveness from Adam and the Swans and been forcefully turned away. Since he can?t cleanse his heart and get the forgiveness he needs to move forward, he acts out against the Swans.

He acts out against the Swans because they won?t let him move past last year?s incident, which was highly embarrassing for Eddie.
Despite what people think of Eddie, I think he would be very open to a chance to reconcile with Adam and people at the Swans. He acts out against us because we are not letting him in.

A reconciliation with Adam and the Swans will lead to Eddie feeling that he has resolved an ongoing conflict in his life in a positive way. There will be goodwill from the reconciliation. He may switch from an enemy to an ally if the Swans open up to him and allow him to resolve the radio incident.

Hmmmm the difference is I've watched TD a few times (laughed), but read different variants of M80 a few-to several-times a day for a year or so. Too much of a "good" thing perhaps? But you (well I) can't help but read M80's "insights" for the rare gem that crops up.
